Gold Collection

A series of paintings using 24K gold as backdrop or accent.  Oils and acrylic paint on canvas.

This series is an exploration of how light plays off gold to evoke a specific mood.  Be it a sunset in the background of burning Notre Dame carved in 24K gold, an event that moved me so much I was compelled to paint it,  or the backdrop to create a richness to the piece like For the Love of Dogs, each piece in this collection says something unique and beautiful through the use of gold.
